Having owned a few dogs, once she got to 10 I knew things could change quickly.

However much you try and prepare it is always a shock.

I think I have about recoverd, voice is back, priodically get a dry throat, shoulder has been completly pain free past couple of days and despite Kerasoft disaster a qick test with the RGP's in showed 30 months since having the current RGP's and the vision us unchanged so that was good news.

Tess at 13 1/2 (94 1/2 in dog years) may tke longer, but she ate her tea with relish, whimperd for me to move her water nearer. She still can not stand without help, but she did stand long enough for me to change her mat.

Tomorrow I am worried as I have to go back to work and my relatives who will be over can not lift her, so I am hoping absorbant matts will be enough until I get home.

Awww she should be ok if they are kinda the same as the ones in work. Hoping that she does ok. Glad that you are feeling better, dislocated shoulders are horrible! :lol:
