I get scared of lots of things, but KC isn't one of them!
It is true that I do not know what tomorrow will bring. It may bring an increased failure of my sight, or partial recovery. I do everything in my power to make sure that it is the latter rather than the former, but once I have done what I can do I am content to enjoy today the things I can do today and let tomorrow look after itself.
There are things that worry me about KC, but they do not scare me. eg I am worried about how people will react when I walk past, having failed to notice them.
I have found that people are pretty forgiving when they know that I have KC, even if they do not know what it is like for me or what KC means. Lots of people have conditions that I cannot understand; people with all sorts of pain, ... ... ... I hope that I am not judgemental of them, and have found that most people manage to get by without judging me too harshly.
