Sweet...my eldest daughter is a 'pink everything' fan. Her bedroom is incredibly pink, she likes pink clothes, she has a pink bike with a pink crash helmet, her teddy bear is pink, her toothbrush and she's more than proud of her new pink boots. Mind you she's only four so she can get away with it....you should get together
Mind you I drew the line when she insisted on buying a pink car!

Hehe i never was a pink fan when i was younger. My parents used to dress me in red and green which i hated and my twin sister in blue and yellow which i wanted! Now though i can see that my mum got it right and i am much more of a red girl than a blue bird!!!
I very rarely wear pink though, i'm too pale to wear baby pink and bright pink just looks silly if you aren't a child! I do have a whole bedroom FULL of pink and purple things though and have just acquired some gorgeous pink and purple plastic flowers to hang from the ceiling making my room cinderellas palace!!!
I'm with the thinking that i guess i just don't want to grow up as i only started getting into pink when i came to London. At the time though pink was THE colour to have and now i have such a nice collection that i can't bear to part with it! Even my friends who hate the colour think that my room looks inviting and warm which is what i want it to be. I feel safe here and while i'm living in London i'm only ever going to have one room to myself so i want to make it the safest place possible as i spend a lot of time here studying and such.
I know though that if i find a nice guy i would have to be somewhat considerate to his feelings!! I don't think that he would want a whole house in it, but then neither would i really, but for now i'm more than happy!!

I know how frustrating days like this can be. But, if you can't wear your lens that is really all there is to be said.
Your work is important, but you are far more important. I know that the department where you work would rather you took the time you need so that when you go back you can function, all guns blazing (sorry about the metaphor).
As you follow the advice you have been given, sitting in the bath, just think what a glorious thing it is that when Scotland meets Wales, at least one Celtic nation comes away happy!
Years ago, some Welsh supporters visiting Edinburgh for a Four nations match stumbled into the bar where the Faculty of Divinity was celebrating the end of the Academic Year. They fell into earnest conversation with some Scottish Divines, and realizing what they had gate crashed, one of them said "Oh my goodness, we're going to lose!"
They didn't

Hehe i did have bright pink wellies with flowers on them but sadly they got so muddy iduring a Reading festival that i had to throw them away! LOL!!
My friend has never let that one go as the biggest thing she remembers amongst all the alcohol was me almost in tears because my favourite wellies were ruined! Then i was complaining rather strongly about the dam mud whilst sitting outside our tent in the pouring rain, but then everything was fine and that it was 'home from home' as i was handed a cup of tea!! She was like sweet only you could think that tea in the rain while we sit in the mud at a music festival is anywhere as nice as our warm dry home!! LMAO!! Two years on and i'm still paying for it!!!
I'm spending the day doing nothing really. Went out and did some shopping well as much as i could see and have now ventured back home to chill for a bit. Thought i would catch up on some posts here as thankfully being large text it is easy to read! So it gives me someting to do!!
Thinking i will check out any bands i would like to see this year as well, needing to stop looking for Snow Patrol now as the said Reading festival didn't have them anyway! So there was i complaining about the dam mud when my fave band at the time didn't play!!
You know when you are getting old when tea makes everything ok

Much to the embarassment of my nieces I am a dog person and are the owner of many fluffy dogs which have their own dog bowl and Bonio biscuits.
Some are small and others are larger and sometimes they accompany me on train journeys and talk/bark to other passengers. One of my friends also knitted a scarf for one of them. I have; Colin and his little brother Junior [Bedlington Terriers], Patch and Russell [Jack Russells], Savaughny [Indian and Rusells girlfriend], Biff [Bull dog], Roxy [Doberman], Rufus, Honey, [mongrels] Bengy [puppy], Lionel [who is in charge of the laundry basket] and Jemima [Spaniel].
And NO, I will not for moment countenance the idea that they are not 'real'.

Hehe yea i have seen that sign as well! LOL!! And yea i have to admit that i thought of the same thing!
Little pink fairies turn up where you least expect them! I heard through the grape vine that one is flying to the next KC social but can't be too sure!!
Louise i have a fluffy sheep called Shaun lol. He isn't actually mine, my sister bought him last summer being a door stop but i seem to have adopted him and looked after him, and as i love him so much he is never on the floor! I bought him a lovely green top with hood and a pair of shoes and i place him around the flat to amuse my sister and her husband!
The first time they saw him at the end of last summer he was propped against the door holding the house phone with a packet of peanuts and sunglasses on!! He can turn up anywhere, in the shower and making tea as he's a very talented sheep!! He's the cutest thing you've ever seen with huge eyes and a tongue hanging out that makes you just want to hug him!!
Now he is known so much that friends come from the rooms here just to see what he is now dressed in! And when i leave soon i am told that as i seem to have taken over and indeed named him making him a part of the family as he was too dam cute to be a doorstop i can take him with me!! That is the best leaving pressie ever!
In exchange they can keep my microwave as it is too dam haevy to carry anyway!!!!
Shaun is so much nicer!!
You know on reflection, i think there is way too much time on my hands!!
Sweet ... and Shaun X x X
