sorry to hear that you are still being told a graft is the only option.

with regards to seeing the top two lines of the chart, i have long since gone past this stage with my left eye but when i was at the same stage as you (top two lines on the chart for my left eye) the opticians were still able to get me some vision in glasses - not brillant but at least it helped me see the TV better.
I am fortunate that i do still have vision in my right eye but that is somewhere close to the top of the chart without my glasses - again my opticians are able to get me vision in glasses. good job considering i cant wear CL again  .

Have you looked at finding an optician that is KC friendly, see if they can help with some vision in glasses for you to go alongside the CL fitting you are getting through the NHS. i say a KC friendly opticians as they will understand the problems better than bog standard high street optician.

Cant find anything but chains of opticans or the stupid muppet that didnt notice anything and gave me hell for 10 years.

ARGH hate htis city.

Right eye has rapidlyover taken left in terms of severity so graft they claim is only option for it but want to try lenses in left if not they think (theybeing top bod i saw) says that will be a graft as well

Did I mention I hate being skint and the NHS!

Some chains of high street opticians have one specific branch that deals with certain conditions. One chain of high street opticians I see is Scrivens and they have branches all over the Midlands. Anyone they get that has KC and needs seeing by an optom gets refered to the Rugby branch which i have had experience of my slef and they are very good.

Onmce the wedding is sorted you might have to do a bit of leg work and ask around the opticians, there is a list in the members area of this site which might help find a KC friendly optom near you.
