Martin

Most definitely KC can cause headaches.. for many reasons. The blurring in one or both eyes affects the way your eyes work together which in turn puts strain on the visual system.

Andrew gives very useful advice - get yourself sorted as soon as possible with the local hospital and seen by an optometrist that understands KC.

It is worth, in the meantime, trying covering one eye when you get dizzy and see if that helps when reading. Take frequent breaks and look up into the distance regularly when doing a lot of close work, to relax your eyes.

Good luck!

Thank you all for the helpfull advice. Obviously the UK KC community is quite strong and united. I will visit the University Health Services as soon as possible.
Rosemary, I am doing my degree in Management with Business Finance. I hope to get into consulting in the UK for a while after graduating.
And obviously the headaches must be caused by disturbances in the vision system as my right eye vision is very blurred even with my glasses on. The left eye seems to be OK and I guess it's the reason that I am still able to function properly without any intervention or lenses. I hope the KC doesn't progress very fast as I will probably be able to do the crosslinking during the summer, right after handing my dissertation. The workload is quite big and currently I see a gloomy picture. I mean it's heard to imagine all the reading during the year with the vision problems. I can only hope for the best.....

Again, thank you all for the great help and support.
