There is clearly a question of training here for bus (and train) staff. They should not be abusing disabled people in the way that you were abused.

Have you thought of contacting your MSP as well as your MP? I think that transport is a devolved competence, and it may be that the political route is the best way to go to put a shot across the bows of a company whose staff seem to think that size provides immunity.
