So do you reckon it wasnt as bad as you thought?.....or was you expecting the experience?....
Any immediate changes in vision?

Probably under estimated that pain some what........ I was hoping that it wouldn't be that bad.
But logically speaking I should have expected with 13 being removed at once the eye would be very sore. I can look on the bright site at least I will not have the feeling again for a long time.
As for changes in vision I would say it’s a bite more blurry. I will try and keep a daily record of fluctuations
Plus the help from the mrs helped me get home, otherwise I would have stranded.

I see....mind you 13 is alot to have in one sitting..most I have had I think was 5 in one hit....and that didnt generate a iota of pain....just felt and heard the twang...... hopefully your cornea will settle...and then youll have even better vision...

Mine was very sore when I had the continuous stitch out but it recovered very quickly. Within the week it was pretty much back to normal.
I've still got a fair few stitches in from my '96 graft (never got a straight answer how many). They are well buried in my eye and from what I've been told they will only be taken out if they cause me any trouble, which my docs are not expecting.

Hi there!
I have only ever had five taken out at once, and i didn't feel they were loose! Apparently my eye healed really fast. It took five minutes to remove them, my surgeon was saying i was the best patient he has ever had as i was so calm and relaxed about the whole thing and didn't move! Maybe being a nurse helped hehe. Since then i have had about eight more removed.
I still have four stitches left but he is happy to leave them as they have healed over and to remove them would cause more distortions with my vision so i don't mind. They don't cause me any problems.
Hoping your vision gets better soon!
