hi gang,
havent post in along time, but i am really angry with my doctor(I am not living in the UK anymore),
Last August i was told i need a transplant, then they tried to fit me with contact lenses, which failed
Then i had an MRI scan, and then have to seen Nero-Eye doctor, and have to take visual eeg exams all normal
mean while my keratoconus has got worse, to the point, the vision from the sides is gone now.
Now i experience pain in my eyes like i have contact lenses, and cutting pain
what can i do
help

What you describe: loss of sight in both eyes and pain in eyes as if lenses where inserted when they were not, is more or less a description of what I experienced when I was told that it was time for my grafts. How would you feel about having one eye done, and then the other?

Re: help
i am mentally really for this, as I have taken medical insurance to cover me while sick, and its a very scary situation when they tell you, actually need an operation, and it should fix the problem. think by the time they will do intacs, i would need a graf in that eye as well

Re: help
Well the good news is that they won't need to do INTACS and a graft at the same time. If they are doing the graft you won't need INTACS.
Every good wish.
