my evil eye

ok i followed pipers instructions, so if it works, well done piper, if not....its all his fault.

So hopefully heres a pic of my eye and cornelius at 3 weeks. The piece of gunk was removed today. The leak was at like the 3 o clock position. Im slightly confused about how theres only one stitch at the otherside...u would have thought it was there that was leaking. Consultant happy, so guess i am too

...and I fixed it!

Nice Pic, Sarah. The uneven stitching is a bit odd, not seen that before.

Interesting to note that you too have the whitish ring round the edge of the cornea. I was told that this was because the donor was elderly ( ) and old people's corneas are like that!

John

p.s. my pics are on my mini-blog.

A greyish discolouration at the graft \ host join is very common and generally remains there forever.

In mine, I have it around the join at around a total of id say 180 degrees around the eye....but I can only see it if i shine a light at an angle at it....

Sarah
I too have a very destinctive ring around my graft. my eyes are very very dark as i am half Italian and the ring looks like something from a sci-fi movie. I was really shocked when I saw it. It looks like i have 2 different coloured eyes now. I'm hoping this will settle down.
