Hi all,
For the past couple of days, my right eye has been giving me a strange pain I havent had before. I feel a slight pain every time I blink, and light sensitivity has increased. When I woke up this morning, my eye was streaming with tears, and was quite sore this morning. My eye looks fine, I dont know if it might be an infection or maybe its just overwear. Although I doubt either of these are right. I have left the lens out for the past couple of days. I will give my eye till tomorrow, and if nothing improves, I will head to the eye casualty.
Does anybody have any ideas of what it may be (I know this is quite a tough uestion.... i dont really know how to describe the pain. It isnt a very sharp pain, but I definitely havent had anything like it before.) At first I thought I was just being paranoid after being told about getting corneal transplants last week, but it definitely does not feel right...
Thanks for any help in advance.

Hey there!
It is hard sometimes to know what to do, but i tend to go along with the feeling that if it is something that i am not happy or comfortable with i will get it looked at.
It could be anything! Maybe you got something in your eye and it is a scratch, or indeed it could be overwear or an infection? If there is any redness i would definately go and get it checked out to put your mind at rest.
Hoping that you are feeling better soon,

Get yourself to your GP or to Gratnavel ASAP
If you have not already done so, go today. As Sweet says, this may not be any cause for concern, but if it is, then the sooner it is attended to the better.
(I am sure you don't need to be reminded to avoid using your contact lens in that eye while the present situation continues.)
