today i had my check up at gartnavel hospital.

i have had every test possible to try to find the reason my sight is so bad.

but they all came back fine so im a bit confused.

dr ramaesh is even puzzled has anyone else had similar things.

my sight was fine after my grafts but now ican see 6ft infront of me and its worrying that nothing showed on the tests.

My sight post grafted suddenly detriorated in 2004 in the eye grafted in 1989.

The reason was that the old cornea the graft is attached do developed KC again. If this were the case with you, a topography would show that up.

The same eye post graft for some reason went very flat, but I asked the surgeon if I could toughen up the lens to compensate. He thought it unlikly but after brain storming we tried these 'Magic Eye' pictures which at first glans are just a mass of colour, but if you concentrate and force the eye to focus past the paper you then see a 3D image.

A year of doing this, the shape of the graft had not apparently changed (this is pre topography scans) but I could see legaly to drive if I concentrated unaided. Two years post graft with little effort I could get 6/6 unaided and that lasted for about 5 years before I needed glasses.
