I could see my sutures from the inside. Only in some lights they appeared like a little sparkling circle.
I once told the ophthalmologist that, when he was using the slit lamp the sutures were visible to me. He was a little dismissive of this until I told him, "they're blue".
He now wonders whether other patients are able to see the sutures he puts in place.
When the first eight came out (four on the bottom and four on the top) the remaining effect was very odd. Now that they are all out except the one that broke, I really can't say that I see anything much of the surface of my eye. but I can see things that are far away.

Well I am certain that my vision has improved, without glasses I use the grafted eye all the time (yes I can choose which eye I use - amblyopia iirc). I can almost read this screen without glasses, (About a foot away 1280x1024 and standard sized fonts) if it wasnt for the slight ghosting I am sure that I could read it.
Looking forward to the suture removal/adjustement now.
