Hello and welcome to the forum,
The time it takes to get useful vision after a graft varies a lot. It's not at all unusual for vision still to be blurred after 4 months and stitches aren't usually taken out until a year or 18 months after the graft. I've had grafts in both eyes and my experience was that with the left eye, I had no benefit from the graft until I could wear a contact lens in that eye again. The other one was very different - I could see a difference after a few months. Now I have good vision in both eyes with either contact lenses or glasses. So it's a question of being patient and I know that's easier said than done! But it's good your doctor says your graft is doing well. It may take quite a few more months before you'll see a difference, and the vision may change again when the stitches come out. That's when you'll know what the final vision will be. So what you're experiencing is normal. All the best

one little question in kerataconus if the cornea is the problem why not we are getting a 6/6 without any glass or a Contact lenses when u replace it?
when we replace a tyre we could run right?
so why it isnt working that way?

If only it was that simple! A cornea is a much more complicated and delicate thing than a tyre - and you can't compare mechanical objects with a living tissue. A transplant needs a long healing process. And however skilful the surgeon, it's almost impossible to produce a completely smooth corneal surface when doing a graft. I don't know if you had a topography done before your graft (like a contour map of the cornea showing which parts are higher or lower). Pre graft, the raised parts of the cornea which show up in red, are typically in the centre or towards the bottom of the cornea. When I saw topographies of my post transplant corneas, there were red parts in the areas where the replacement corneas joined my own although the central part was now much flatter. However much surgery advances, we're not at perfection yet!

ah thanks.
actually i hate to wear glass or contact lenses .my friends will make a fun out of me becasue a contact lens is very unusual to them and a glass is looks like a nerd thats why i wondered if i could give up both with 6/6 by any luck
