Migrane question

Postby mrsc999 » Thu 21 Jun 2012 3:01 pm

Hello everyone

I was diagnosed with KC in my right eye approx 8 months ago. I was wondering if anyone else suffers from headaches/migranes related to this condition? I suffer from a migrane approx every 3/4 weeks.
Many thanks
Gemma

Gemma

Welcome to the forum. You ask an interesting question.

In my teens and twenties I suffered from frequent migraines. In my sixties they don't come so much but I have always wondered whether trying to see clearly through wonky eyes may have contributed to my headaches.

Andrew.

Thank you for your replies. I have suffered migranes since the birth of my twins nearly two years ago which led me to the opticians...which led to the diagnosis of KC. At the moment i am wearing glasses and in the early stage of getting used to one hard contact lens and one regular. I had hoped that the new glasses/lens would help to prevent the migranes but i am still suffering so will mention to my GP and at my next appt at eye clinic. Many thanks again, Gemma
