Stem cells transplanted to restore sight

Noticed this on the BBC News "Two patients get eye stem cells transplanted to restore sight"

I look forward to reading the report on the results, if this works, I am sure it opens up possibilities that stem cells can be used to treat other corneal conditions, including ours.
