I was at my optometrist on Friday. She said that my left eye graft is looking a bit 'milky' at the edge. Back to the Ophthalmology Clinic on Thursday! I hope this is just a transient effect of my now departed virus.
Meanwhile, my diabetes is well under control and my retina is in good shape. My blood pressure is normal and my IOP is comfortably within acceptable limits.

Good luck for Thursday Andrew. Hope it all sorts itself out... I too had the 'flu and not only felt lousy but also that I'd sneezed so hard -- so often -- that goodness knows what it was all doing to my graft. Can't have done it any good, but nothing obvious amiss so am just keeping my fingers crossed. Am sure that when you go to the clinic, it will have cleared up and you'll be back to normal.

All the best for tomorrow, Andrew. There must be a moderators' jinx at the moment - I spent nearly 4 hours at Moorfields A&E last night waiting for a diagnosis of yet another vitreous detachment (for the uninitiated, that's when some jelly at the back of the eye comes away - nothing to do with KC, but everything to do with ageing eyes!) At least it wasn't a detached retina, so I'm counting my blessings.
So I've got all my fingers crossed for you.

Both grafts remain healthy. I am at the clinic now, waiting for confocal microscopy, but there seems to be nothing unusual or pathological about the milkiness noticed by my optometrist.

Later addition: confocal microscopy absolutely fascinating. I saw my endothelial cells ( both eyes) the Stroma of each and was glad to be told that I had enough of each to get by!
