I got a hard lens about 10 months ago, scheduled for the transplant etc in november or atleast the pre-testing phases or what ever...

anyway my current problem is..
for the past month or so, everytime i put on my lens it tends to drop down on the bottom of my eye, its top is just above the inner (black) eye thingy and then the lens goes all the way down.
like... its not exactly on the eye as its supposed to sit, its on the bottom of the eye, but still on the eye. i can see fine with it as it is atm, but its anoying that everytime i try to look up (more then the center of my sight) it hurts..
been having issues getting a hold on my doctor, so i post here :)

Thanks..
T

Hello Soulmatex and welcome to the forum,
It sounds from what you say as though the shape of your eye might have changed a bit in the last few months so the lens which fitted fine when you first got it doesn't fit fine now. The only solution is to go back to your contact lens fitter and get the fit checked out and hopefully get a new lens that will stay central.
Good luck
Anne

Hi

In the past I trialled 32 pairs of lens (hard, soft, toric, etc) and became intolerant to them. During that time I ended up with scratches on my cornea because they will ill-fitting. At times, they hurt as well. I'm no expert, but I think there's potential to cause damage (that happened in my case – scar tissue can built up), and so I'd stop wearing it.

Best wishes.

Caroline.
