So far so good.
Its a hard gas permeable lens the size of my iris. Is inserted with small puddle of saline in the bowl.
This contact lens is instead of my scleral for my left eye.
Quick History.
Right eye Softperm then Synergeyes Clearkone.
Left Eye Softperm then scleral, then cataract removed no IOL, then new Scleral too bulky, miniscleral still too bulky.
Problem with sclerals was that as I had no IOL implanted the prescription meant lens had a large dome on front and so I had to blink over the equivalent of Mount Everest (nearly).
So the new left lens seems to marry up my vision better with my right eye so it isnt a battle between the two. Current wearing time is 6 hours and I am only taking it out because I have done my six hours not due to discomfort.
It is much easier to insert than scleral or minscleral and in fact I would say its the same size roughly in diameter as my clearkone but easier to put in as the edges arent bendy.
