I've got an appointment at Gartnavel tomorrow; I think they may want to talk about Punctal Plugs.

Any experience, anyone?

I have been told I nEed this as well as some other plugs due to the extreme dryness and recurrent infections. Sorry to hear you need this. X

Well, no punctual plugs for Andrew today. Instead they are booking me in for a bit if micoscropy to count the cells in my epithelium.

Hope the epithelium cell count goes well. I have punctal plugs, started with plugs in each of the lower ducts, than had plugs in the upper ducts for a short period of time, but they made my eyes ran with water! So had them removed now only have lower plugs, which have been effective in helping my dry eye, along with celluvisc. So far no problems with them. Sheila
