A PHD student at Glasgow Caledonia University (In the centre of Glasgow near mainline train stations and Buchanan Street bus station) is looking for people to take part in research at Glasgow Caledonia University, Department of Vision Sciences.
He is doing 2 studies.
Tear dynamics in Keratoconus RGP contact lens patients
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of RGP lenses on tear film dynamics of a group of Keratoconus contact lens wearers.
You will be asked to attend for just one visit wearing your contact lens. The total time will be about one hour.
Tear dynamics in post corneal graft soft contact lens patients:
The purpose of this study is to investigate the change in tear film dynamics of post corneal graft soft contact lens patients and compare the results with normal soft contact lens patients.
You will be asked to attend for just one visit wearing your contact lens. The total time will be about one hour.
You could go and see him daytime or he has some evening sessions if that suits better.
If somebody is interested in doing research concerning KC it would be good to support them if possible. I first saw this info about this at Gartnavel hospital and have been in contact with the researcher since then.
If you are interested send me a PM and I can send you more details and his contact information.
