Hi guys

For those in the UK who have had a graft recently how long did you have to wait. I have just gone on the list this week. The consultant was not able to give me a date as it was a private appointment (the op will be on the NHS). He thought about April\May next year. how does that compare with your experiances ?

That sounds pretty well right to me. My surgeon on the nHS began by asking when it would be convenient for me to come into hospital for the surgery; once we had found a date on which I could come to hospital I reckon there was an eight or nine week wait but that had as much to do with my own diary as it did the hospital's programme.

Hi,
I went on the waiting list end of Jan 2010 was told 6/9 months had the graft in Sept, but have just had a repeat one within three week of being told I would need it.
