Usually this isn't until after the stitches have come out and the eye has settled down to its final post graft vision. Moorfields in London were doing a trial a year or two ago where they were fitting a scleral lens (which doesn't touch the cornea) much earlier - 3 to 6 months post graft. I know that worked very well for one of our members, but I don't know if this trial is still continuing.

all eyes heal differently... definately wait until your opthalm says it is okay.... i imagine that will be after stitches are out and the eye shape is stable...
