immune suppression

Postby GrandPaClanger » Mon 30 Aug 2010 7:57 am

As I am on my death bed with man flu  it got me thinking about immune suppression. Came to mind when reading the news on the synthetic cornea. What sort of things do you have to take after a 'normal graft' and what if any special precautions do you take 

The 'normal' regime after a graft is frequent doses of dexamethasone or prednisalone (both steroids delivered in eye drops), and chloramphenicol (an antibiotic).

Hope your man-flu goes away soon. In the meantime, I hope there is somebody there who can keep you plied with lots and lots of fluids.
