photosensitivity

Why am I far more photosensitive post op than I was prior?

why has it now been 5 months since first op and still living in sunglasses?

yes iv had rejection issues, scar tissues , over granulating, all stitches out, blood vessles growing on graft,

but argh am in the dark here with sunglasses on

If your experience is like mine, you can probably expect to live in sunglasses for a while yet: light tends to be scattered by the healing edge of the grafted cornea, so that it hits parts of the interior of your eye that it has no business hitting. That causes pain.

Wearing a stylish pair of sunglasses for a bit can be quite beguiling.

Every ledge in my house has a pair of sunglasses on it, went to tidy the kitchen earlier to find a pair I had forgotten I had boguht, just sick of having to before doing anything use a stack of drops *(still on hourly dexamethazone) and then plonk my shades on ..x

i have freinds who call me 'panda eyes' because i wear big sunglasses all year round- even if it is almost dark... as a result the sun never reaches the skin around my eye and that area stays pale ... i have recently resorted to a fake-tan in this area to reduce the effect!!! 8)
