How long have you worn/did you wear corneal lenses?

I've worn corneal lenses for 35 years. For the first 15 years I wore PMMA lenses and for the last 20 RGPs.

I get good overall vision from these lenses but I'm aware that many people become intolerant to corneal RGPs after 20+ years, so after 35 years in hard or RGP lenses I'm trying to develop a 'Plan B' before I have a big problem.

Any thoughts?

Pre grafts over 30 years. I wore just about everything from RGP lenses (including Rose K) through hybrids, soft lenses, piggy back lenses and a scleral.

Post graft I have worn a lens in my left eye for about 18 months and counting ...
