Treatments after grafts

I had a graft in each eye 20 years ago when I was only 19. My vision is now getting worse and my doctor is tnow rying to fit me with piggy back lenses. I am finding this really tough, as they are very uncomfortable and impractical for sport, etc - does anyone know of any alternatives?
I'd welcome any thoughts or advice.
Chris

Welcome to the forum
There are several different lens sorts and materials that you can try. I never managed to cope with hybrids while others here find them the ideal solution.
There are now several different sorts of soft lens designed specifically for people with KC, and I wonder whether you have tried any of them? Also, the scleral or haptic lens is also used for people both before and after grafts. My all time favourite lens was my scleral.
All the best
Andrew

Hi Chris
Can you tell us where you are located? The fact you are saying that your "doctor" is refitting you hints that you are not in the UK. Lens availability varies according to country.
