365 days Post Graft

Hey all.

Its my grafts 1st birthday today, :mrgreen: and i am happy to say that it has healed well and has treated me good. i am getting 6/6 with glasses.
I hope to have some stitches removed in 2 weeks time to reduce the 5.5 CYL

Good luck to everyone else going through thier 1st year healing. and thanks for everyones support over the difficult past 12 months.

Congratulations. Plenty of room on the cake for a candle.

Getting to be a fire hazard on my cake when it comes to celebrating the grafts birthday. Hope yours aere as every bit as succesful and long lasting as mine.

6/6 with glasses that is my life long dream more than winning the lotto you are so lucky enjoy ur celebrations

I am so pleased with the outcome, i hope it continues to heal as well for the next 12 months.........
I am supposed to have some stitches out in 2 weeks and have hydrops in the other eye so i am not sure how that will all turn out. ???

At least, if they want to graft eye#2 once your hydrops has gone away, you have the encouragement of a good experience with # 1.
