Frightened of moving eye too much

Hi everyone,
Been a while since I last posted. I've had KC for 20+ years and have worn RGP's for all of that time. A few years ago I was told that I had blepharitis and advised to do hot flannet compresses every night and also use rapitil eye drops.
I,ve been doing this for a number of years but just recently the inside of my eyelid feels very uncomfortable, I can only describe it as a very dry feeling so much so that I feel if I move my eye around too much that the lens is in danger of falling out. Through reading the posts on the forum it has become clear that a great number of us seem to have dry eyes and I am wondering if I have now got this or whether it is a symptom of the blepharitis. I have trouble getting a hospital appt and I am not due to be seen again until the end Oct.
Just wondered if anyone elso has these symptoms and what I can do to alleviate them.
Kind regards
Libby
