HOSPITAL REFERRAL HELP

hi i have KC and can feel my eye sight slowly getting worse. i need another eye test so i can have some new contact lens, but the hospital referral process took 4 months last time i wanted an appointment.
is ther any way to be seen sooner??
i have hard contact lens, is this something a high street optician could do?
thanks in advance for any advice and support]im in manchester by the way

Welcome to the forum.

In my experience, a second referral is normally much faster than the first; your name is already in the system. In fact I am surprised that they did not just give you a new appointment when they gave you your initial lenses.

Phone the clinic and ask for a new appointment. They should be able to give you one pretty soon; and all the best.
