Hi Optom,
what kind of stitches did you have... single stitches or a continuous stitch or a combination? i had a combination and one my individual stitches also worked loose really early and was taken out. once it is loose it isn't working anyway and can cause a lot of irritation, so let them take it out... they will probably then see how the graft looks and decide whether they need to restitch.

Hi there. Please don't worry about having stitches removed early. I had a few taken out about six weeks after the graft but didn't want them to be removed. I was so careful with them but sometimes your graft just heals very quickly and they get loose by themselves! I was so sure that it was all wrong, but it all worked itself out and everything healed ok in the end.
Take care, love Claire X x X
