feeling a little low and frustrated
Hi everybody, its been a while since I have written upon the board... As the title says i've been feeling low and frustrated. Had to have time off work due to being unable to work with my contacts in the heat, and now extremely worried because I have to see my Opthmologist in the morning... I have been finding it hard to sleep and work with the pains and dryness of my eyes. My vision as got worst and life seems share hell at the mo, especially when you lose money... Sorry about complaining...

You have no need to apologize! We are here to share times like this.
There are things that can be done about dry eyes, and in my own case whenever they began to get my dry eye sorted out I could manage to wear lenses again and my sight improved.
All the best with your ophthalmologist tomorrow.
Every good wish
Andrew

Much can be done for dry eyes ranging from eye drops, a slight change in diet and even the type of lens.
For me to over come dry eye problesm it has been a case of all of the above. In this heat I've found I can do something i have been unable to do for over 4 years and that is be in a car with the roof open and all the windows and have proper wind in the face motoring on the motorway with no lens problems at all. I could never do this with my RGP lenses.
There are soltions out there it is just a matter of being patient and working with the medical proffesionals and finding the solution that works best for you.
