Wow, that looks bad. I am so sorry that you have this continuing post operative problem, and that you are having to run around so much to get the medicine you need.

Like you, I always had the preservative free 'minims' of dexamethasone and chloramphenicol. I used to mark the boxes of chloramphenicol with a big red marker cross so that I'd not get them mixed up.

All the best

Andrew

What a palaver indeed! HOpe you get the suppliy chain sorted PDQ.
Preservative free minims? - I never knew they existed! I started off with the preservative-free bottles with eye droppers in the lid from Moorfields Pharmaceuticals, but somehow had the impression they were the olny people who made them. (Each bottle last a week and you keep it in the fridge - well, you're supposed to throw it out after a week, but the number of itmes I finally got round to looking closely at the label and realised it was 10 days after I'd opened it......!!) WHen I had to get repeat Rxes fromt eh GPs, they went onto the throw out after a month bottles, non-PF, as they said at GP's they couldn't prescribe a PF sort, as they only came fromthe hospital......???????
Oh well, off them now.
At least you are able to drive round all thoses places!
Hope you get the test results soon, too.
