Well everyone it has been 7 weeks since I first posted and by this weekend I would have had my graft. Thank you all for answering my questions and concerns

Please think of me on Thursday I have to say the nerves have started to kick in and wish that I could hurry up and get it over with!

Anyway, I look forward to letting you know my progress in a few weeks time

Do not expect to wake up with perfect eyesight! healing will take time, but at least with the graft behind you your healing trajectory can begin.

Are you having yours done under local anaesthetic?

No I am under general. Not sure if I would be brave enough to have a local.

I was also thinking of doing a blog, just read yours it's really good. Sounds like your bad eye is about as useless as mine!
