Waiting room meets?

Hi all!
I've got a long time at the hospital on Wednesday - 7th Jan that is.
Red clinic 4 at 2pm, then the other end again at 3.30. Then glaucoma clinic at 5pm.
Anyone else going to be around, fancy a coffee/cake/chat?
I'll be the one in the red and black striped scarf and the black velvet trousers, no doubt looked very stressed out (boy, how I hate going to that place!)
Probably not able to see a thing, so do come and say "hi" if you spot me.

Good luck with your appointment, Andrew.
Am still feeling very fluey - well, it feels like this would be flu if I hadn't had the flu jab - and not looking forward to sitting around in a hospital like this.
As if I didn't dread eye appointmnets anyway these days.
I'm sure yours will be much better!

Well, at least I dont have flu (or pseudo-flu :D ), and over the years I have come to look forward to seeing the people at the clinic: you'd be surprised how many of the people in the waiting room are known to each other! Then there is the series of consultations, sometimes I meet new junior doctors, and sometimes I meet again old friends.

The actual stuff they do is no more pleasant, but the context is agreeable.

All the best with your flu.
