I posted this once but misclicked and lost the lot :(

Anyhoo My name is Ian I am 26 and have had kerataconus for 11years now.
I have been told that I am too young for a transplant and that I should just live with my condition until there are further advancments in treatment. So I was wondering if there have been and stumbled upon your site :)

I have been coping un=corrected for 4 years now after Gas permiable, kera soft and standard lenses failed to correct my cornea.

I am interested in the intac/ferera ring route and was wondering what you guys can tell me about them.
Cheers

Welcome to the forum! There's a bit of information if you havent already seen on the homepage under treatment options explained. I don't know too much about Intacs myself, so I'll let others fill you in with this.

Ian

Welcome to the forum. Actually the newer treatment options do include INTACS and CXL. As Amarpal says, you can check the articles posted under treatment options.

All the best
