Piper is a member of the forum, and has been a great support to many of us.

A professional musician and violin maker, he has continued to work through his two grafts and has been an inspiration to people all over the world.

Piper lives in New Orleans. Along with everybody else in his part of the United States he is currently knowing the sort of disruption that is the stuff of nightmares for people who live in more temperate climes. Please keep him in your thoughts.

Although he is currently away from home, he may be able to check in from time to time: post your good wishes here. I know he will be encouraged to know that he is in the thoughts of his friends on the KC forum.

Hey Piper

I've been following the news reports from the storm zone. Know that you are all in our thoughts. I hope you all emerge from this storm both safe and stronger.

Gosh, piper, mate!
Hope it all "blows over" and you're home and dry and safe very soon.

Stay safe, Piper, and everyone in the path of Gustav.

Gustav seems to have eased a bit before hitting the Louisiana coastline. Can't tell you how relieved we were for you all, but the trail of devastation across the Caribbean still looks appalling.

Piper, let us know when you are safely home.

Piper is back in New Orleans; lots of damage, trees uprooted etc, but his home is safe and so is his family!

Great news, andrew, that piper is safe and back home.
Hope there's not to much repair work to be done there.
Do pass one good wishes, won't you?
Rosemary
