ONly if the rainbow haloes come back as quickly as last time I put my new lens in and I give up and decide to drop in to A&E after all......
Which I sincerely hope they won't but am getting fed up with this....
If so, I'll pop round to C4 and look out for you.
I have a big black leather Ozzie bush hat and black velvet trousers, short black-going-grey hair and far too much wieght (at the moment, she says hopefully!)
HOw about you?

OK then - hail me loudly if you see me.
ANd please don't take it amiss if I say I hope you won't!! - I was a bit pissed off at how soon my new lens started going misty and giving me rainbow haloes last time I wore it - and how long it took for th erainbows to wear off the previous time I'd worn it.
Hope your appointment goes well, anyway, and see you some time somewhere.

Thursday morning, 18th September.
I'll be there then.
ANyone else?
It's my Duke-day, so will be hoping to go straight out to the field and go riding later.
SO look out for black and pink jodhpurs and a green and pink jockey helmet.

Sounds like a party in Moorfields: have a good one!
And, Rosemary, enjoy your ride afterwards: remember not to fall off!

Seeing how long one can sit in the waiting room there, a part to pass the time would not come amiss!!!!
I certainly don't intend to fall off again - but then, I didn't intend to fall off the previous time - or the time before - or the time before that.... or......!
I await my new consultant telling me exactly the same thing.

I'll not be there until next April. A whole year between appointments!
I'm so glad that I've lenses that are, comfortable, don't fall out, and give me good vision. If only getting to that stage didn't take so long!
The lenses that fitted - but gave poor vision; or were comfortable with good vision and a poor fit. Or the ones with only a few hours wearing time before they just had to be removed; not to mention the one with perfect vision that flew out when I glanced quickly to my left.
So for those of you have only just started the journey to find the perfect lens remember it does take time. Lots of time.
I just dread the time when it is suggested that my lens prescription needs a minor change. If only it was that simple.

Hi Lia!
Glad to hear you've got so well sorted with the lenses.
SUrprised they only want to see you annually - I've been having six-monthly checkups, mainly to check the eyes are doing OK under the lenses AIUI.
Oh well, don't knock it - we spend enough time in hospital waiting rooms.
Know all about the lenses that look god by te rule book but don't give good vision, and the ones that are very comfortable until I try to read in them, and lots of variants on that theme.
Took a while to get to the point where we agreed that if it felt comfortable enough to use and gave the best possible vision for me, then if it broke all the rules inth book, well, I just break all the rules.
And then if necessary to try piggybacking under the hard lens.
Mind, not that the best vision I've been getting ahs been all that good for quite a while now......
Not sure when I@ll next be there for a CL appointmnet - next week is with the surgeon, following on from 3 recent trips to A&E, and how to manage it a bit better without ending up in another A&E strapped to an oxygen cylinder with an asthma attack, sigh!
