help to a newbe with an old graph

hi to all im john, i had my graph done a long time ago now i think it was about 12 years anyway the vision was never that good but it was not to bad with glasses. over the last few weeks it has been not hurting but feling funney for instance now it feels like my bottom of my eye lid is twitching? may be im going mad.
i never found out how long do the graphs last? and what happens in the end to them?

Welcome to the forum
The general rule of thumb is that grafts can reject at any time (even after 12 years) and you should watch for the signs of possible trouble.
The helpful mnemonic RSVP is usually used to help us be aware of the warning signs.
R: increased Redness
S: increased Sensitivity to light
V: decreased Vision
P: increased Pain
In your position I'd make immediate contact with my ophthalmology clinic and have the graft examined.

Hi John, and welcome.
DOn't worry too much about the spelling - I always say that I can type at a speed of 20 typos a minute.
ZI've heard some people mention that there is a "lifespan" to a graft - others say that they can last indefinitely if looked after properly.
I've met one woman who had grafts that were 40 years old. We didn't think she looked old enough to have 40 year old grafts! - and she was very pleased to be told so.
I agree with Andrew - you sound worried enough to be asking here, so please do go and get it checked out.
Good luck! - most problems with grafts rejecting can be sorted out with the right eye drops.
