A Custom Search Engine for Keratoconus Hard Lens

Postby 3adoola » Fri 18 Apr 2008 7:43 am

Hi KC Guys,

My name is Adel and i have KC.

I set up a small keratoconus search engine that is targeted for Keratoconus issues. By using this search engine, You can search for Keratoconus Hard Lens, Gas Permeable Contact Lens fitting tips, softperm contact Keratoconus patient awareness, treatment and best practices ... etc

The result is filtered to render only high quality websites and Ads. The Google Adsense revenues will be used to cover the hosting expenses of the website.

Please try it and tell me if you have any other suggestion!

I really like your search engine. I used it to look for lens types that have been discussed here and for other treatment and management options for Keratoconus.

Well done.

What are the treatment options for keratoconus in Jordan?

I am glad you liked my Keratoconus Search Engine. Please tell people about it :)

In Jordan we have most of the treatment options and we also have fine doctors. We do Transplants, Contact lens fitting. Intacs ..etc :)

Hi 3adoola

Good search engine!

Can you tell me, do you know what the incidence of KC is in Jordan?

Hi 3adoola,

Sorry, what I meant was - so you know how common keratoconus is in Jordan? I have an interest in how many people have the condition in different areas of the world. Its very hard to get the information officially as no-one collects statistics on this. Sometimes KCers actually have more of an idea about this because they meet other KCers!

So I was just interested to see if Jordan did have any statistics. The "incidence" in the UK is probably now around 1 in 2,500 people have KC, but to be honest even that is guesswork!

Hope that is clearer!

:)

mmm this is such a tough question :)

I really don't have a specific number! And i am not aware of statistical information about that. Once i heard that KC tends to increase in hot countries.

Sorry that i am unable to help.
