Hello, Just to keep you al updated and to ask some questions. I had my second intac fitted to my right eye a couple of weeks ago, and all has gone well. I had my checkup after two weeks and everything in perfect position, slight set back that my stitch had come loose and had to have it removed! I am told this is fine and quite common. Vision is blurry but hopefully will go after a few weeks. So my next step is getting lenses. I am not sure what lenses to go for? I have heard that kerasoft lenses are good, does anyone use these? If so, Do you get on with them?

Hopefully once I have my lenses I will beable to see well enough to work again! yeh!

Helen

Hi Helen,

Glad to hear the intacs going well! As to contact lenses, it depends entirely on what your cornea is like now you have intacs. Unfortunately, whether anyone else gets on or doesn't get on with any particular lens doesn't really help YOU! As a generalisation, your cornea should now be a more regular shape with the intacs making any sort of soft lenses more of an option. However, you need to let a professional have a look see, try some lenses in and give an opinion!

Good luck and keep us posted!
