Interesting Question: I Have KC, I have the RGP Lens.....

Hi,
I've just tried to go for an eye checkup instead of a movie one week back. I had this thought for many days as I suffered bit pain when I see bright light, I used to see blur screen sometimes...unless I rub to get my vision correct.
Getting back to the point, I went to the eye checkup just a normal one because I had the black spots coming under my eye & the reasons I just explained above. I went to them & wasn't able to read thru my left eye. It was sighted immediately as Keretoconus suspicious & they preferred me an ORB scan. A few other junior doctors too performed the routine eye checkup before I went for ORB scan where I was confirmed of Keretoconus.
I was then given many lenses with in that specs that we get to read things there. I found that none of the lenses helped my cause for better vision especially the left eye which reads nothing except the first two lines on the board. The doctor later did some magic & put one contact lens through which I was able to read things but, with a shadowy background. I was then preferred RGP Contact Lens.
I got my RGP contact lens a few days back & after I tried to put on. I wasn't able to read things with that. I called the doctor & he had to say that I did not put it properly. I tried again & waited for 2 days....but, the vision is same with or without the lens...may be slightely better.
The real problem is not that am not able to find difference with GP lens but, a new problem started where the lens keeps slipping out, irritation around the eye (does not get red but, irritation), itching sensation irrespective of whether I have my lens on my eye / do not have it.
My questions:
-> What should I do? the vision does not show improvement after I put on lens(the same sample lens was able to see but, the new lens is just not able to)
-> Lens keep slipping out...I mean it comes out of cornea completely & gets to left or right.
-> New problem after I started wearing lens, Itching sensation + Irritation around the eye. I never had this before.
-> Did I do a right thing by going to doctor? I'm just getting a bit coward. Was it a better solution if I preferred a Movie rather than a general checkup to doctor which I did?
