ANyone else here going to be at Red Clinic 4 on Wednesday for an appointment?
Or any other Wednesda in the next few weeks?
(If you have, you'll know where I mean - see other thread...!)
WOuld be good to see some familiar faces. Or meet some new faces with familiar email addresses.
If you know me, do hail me - you know what my eyesight's like. If you don't, I'm the one in the baseball cap with the galloping horse and the red and black striped scarf.
SHould we have this as a regular slot? - Will be at hospital on Thursday wearing purple sweater, would love to meet up."

In my case it would be, "Will be at Gartnavel on April 24. I'm the one who arrives at 8.30, drinks espresso (there is a very good coffee shop in the foyer) and does his crossword while waiting to be called for a refraction and then to see Dr Ramaesh or a member of his team."
Good idea Rosemary.
All the best tomorrow.
Andrew
ps One of the things I missed most when I couldn't see was my daily crossword puzzle.

Red Clinic 4 on Tuesday, 8th April at 3pm.
ANyone else going to be there and like to meet up? - well, do hail me if you see me in the waiting room; would be good to put faces to email addresses.
I'll be the one with a red and black striped scarf - it's my old college scarf, so a tad threadbare by now, but should be good for recognition.

But how would we know it was you? Would you have on your Borg kit?
Imagine for a moment you were a 58 year old man, who stumbled into a clinic full of women wearing springy eyes and barking. Which one would be Louise: the one dressed as a borg drone, of course!

LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yes of course I'd have to wear my Borg cossie complete with flashing lights so you could work out it was me Andrew! Although my Borg gear does have a nice holographic "occular implant". I could also shout "cake or death?"....

But how would you know it was me? Would you just shout "cake or death" at random to any oddly hsaped old man that happened along?

I could randomly shout 'cake or death?' yes! Or you could bark back, or offer me a bonio

Or I could draw myself up to my full 5'10" and point at you.
"Modom", I would say, "resistance is not futile but the sovereign right of every living human being!"
Or, I might even think of something pithy to say!

I'd either assimilate, bite or shove cake in your gob as my response then!
I don't think Moorfields could handle us!
