New lens post graft

Postby Pat Chinnery » Fri 04 Jan 2008 3:53 pm

Hi All
After two years, almost to the day after my hydrops episode on Christmas day 2005 I have a lens in my left eye. I saw Barry Holland just before Christmas to be fitted after getting the all clear from Mr Packard and the lens turned up a couple of days ago. First try of lens yesterday and WOW!!! My left eye was always the bad eye, with very bad vision even with a lens in, not now. Barry seems to have got both fit and prescription spot on first time. Vision is that good I can see pixels on the tv and all those little symbols on the dvd control panel. Now I need to get my right eye sorted out as my prescription seems to be fluctuating. Looking at C3R maybe.

Pat, this is excellent news. Thank you for sharing it.

We'll all have to get used to calling C3R CXL in the future. Let us know what you decide to do.

I am so glad that 2008 has started so well for you! May this continue through the year.

Yours aye

Andrew

Great news Pat.

I look forward to having a good chat with you at our next London social, whenever that will be (John?).
Please have a listen to my daughter, if you have a spare moment, on www.myspace.com/emmaparnes. She also wrote the songs.
