What am I seeing?

I had a graft last December, then after injuring myself in July I lost the lens part of my eye and had the new cornea re-stitched.

Since then I see a field of cells in front of the bad eye. It is not just one or two floaters but literally a whole field. The majority are separate circles, not strung together like normall floaters. Luckily I only see these in certain light conditions.

I have mentioned it to my specialist and he has looked at the retina etc but cannot see anything wrong.

That's ok, but it's still a bit annoying to have!

I couldn't begin to know what you are seeing but I hope you find out soon. Maybe its another super-power :D
Good luck, I hope you are fully recovered soon.

The important thing with floaters is that we get them checked to se if there is a poblem with the retuna. If that has been checked, then it may be that you are seeing exactly the same sort of detritis that I now see when looking into the near-distance.

I had a cataract op on my right eye some time after a graft in that eye. Since the artificial lens was inserted I see all sorts of things moving about on the surface of my eye. these are only visible when I am looking at nothing-in-prticular in the middle distance. At all othe focal lengths I see through a clear eye.
