HI I used to be a social worker before I had to give up work D.L.A comes in 2 parts one part is for care this is if u need help washing getting dressed... or you need soemone to keep an eye on you as may hurt yourseof for example... and the 2nd part is mobility which is what you might quilfy for... this is people who cannot work ... but u may get it coz u cant read signs etc... due to bad eye sight... it might be worth a shot.. to get the forms you have to ring your local benifts office and ask for a form you will be given a time limit to fill in by coz if u get it .. it will be back dated to thr date u rang up... remember when you fill it do it on your worst day and I am sorry to say to the more negitive you make it the more likely you are to get it.. I believe blind people can get the mobility part of it.... I get it for other reasons ..as I am wheel chair.... good luck if I can be of nay more help pls ask.

Hi

You can get DLA with KC as I used to get it at the low rate mobility prior to returning to work. It took around twelve weeks though for them to make their decision.
