Hi
I recently had my stitches out and after returning for my check up i was informed that one of the stiches was unable to be removed as it was too deep and they couldnt get to it!
I was just wondering if this was cause any inconvenience and if they will have to remove it sum other way!
Also another quick question, after you have had stiches out roughly how long have you got to be on the drops for, the drops im on are Presol and i have been on these since the graft and was wondering roughly how long i will remain on them
thanks guys x

Re: Stiches
20 years on and I apparently still have a stitch or two left and these have never been a problem. My cornea has healed completly over them.
Unable to help on the eye drops as it was so long ago!

Re: Stiches
I have a broken suture in my right (PK) eye. It causes me no discomort or difficulty. Actually I am happier that they left it where it is; the thought of someone going on a retrieval mission for a suture stuck in my eye would make me feel more than a little bit woozy
