Not posted for a while, but been away fulfilling other KC responsibilities to our members
Just before going on holiday last week had some excellent news in that since the re-emergence of KC in my grafted eye in August 2004, the vision is still unchanged. So depsite a rapid vision deterioration over three months we now have three years stability. Still on the original contact lenses too.
Got invited to chat with another KC patient who has only had lenses for 6 months and was having vision problems. Hopefully that person accepts they need to take more care of their lenses because they were filthy.
Why is it we are prepeared to listen to a fellow patient rather than the specialists trying to care for us?
