Crescent shape marks around the Iris

I noticed taking my right lens out today a slight discolouration in the shape of a crescent outside the arc of the iris. It was where the outer edge of the lens must sit. After a few minutes the mark had gone. There was no associated discomfort. Its like the lens left an impression. Is this normal?

i do not know that it is normal, but I think that you may have been seeing one of the indicators of KC.
