Following my re-graft, one of the drops I take make my pupil large. Does anyone know what purpose this serves?
I have had to draw up a chart to make sure I take all my drops as I am on:-
Prednisolone - six times a day
Cyclopnetalate - three times a day
Chloramphenicol - four times a day
Ciprofloxacin (tablets) - twice a day
I'm on more now than I was when I had the original graft!

cyclopentolate dilates the pupil. It more so acts as a cyclopegic, which prevents the eye from accomodating. It helps with uveitis and also corneal ulcerations.
chloramphenicol and ciprofloxacin are antibiotics. Prednisolone is a steroid eye drop to help elleviate inflammation.
