OK, now somebody pinch me to see if I'm dreaming. I got to go to the movie theatre tonight, first time I have been there in probably five years, as it would have been a waste of money till now. I could see the screen!! Yippee!! What a change!!

Those of you who have had grafts and are healing know what I mean. Those of you awaiting grafts.....well, live is better when you can see it....so, be patient and anticipate the goodness of it all.

By the way, went to see the new Harry Potter movie. Lots of fun...but more of a grim storyline than previously, or so I have been told.

Pass the popcorn.

Hi,
I remember that all I wanted to do after my mini ARK operation was go see a movie. I'm a big film fan and I really missed it during my time with keratoconus. Anyway, I had my operation in Rome, Italy and as luck would have it at the end of the same street where my operation took place was a cinema that screened movies in english.

So the night after my operation there I was sat at the back of the cinema, with my large popcorn and large beer (yes in Europe they do serve beer in cinemas :))... the lights went down and for the first time in a very long time I could see the screen (totally uncorrected) and in very good detail. I was in bliss untill I finished watching the worst film I'd ever had the misfortune to watch in my entire life... 'Resident Evil Two'!!! of all the films that had to be showing and I had to get this stinker :( :( :(
